Sound Files

Welcome to the new Rehearse-O-Matic™! You can now download our practice MP3 files or listen to them online, all with one easy set of controls. Just select your section from the top menu and select a song title from the bottom menu. Then you can either listen to the song online by clicking the play button, or download it to your computer.

Unlike most online music players, Rehearse-O-Matic has a balance control, so you can move easily between the left and right channels. (Remember that your vocal part is isolated in the left channel, while the other parts are mixed in the right channel.) You can also adjust the volume, rewind the song to the beginning, or start playing from any point in the song by dragging the triangular pointer.

If you'd rather download the song to play in iTunes, Quicktime, or any other MP3 player, just click the green "Download" button; then right-click the link that appears and choose "Save Target As..." or "Download Link to Disk." (Mac users can just hold down the option key while clicking the link). If your browser has a pop-up blocker, you may have to disable it in order to download the files.

See below for instructions on using iTunes to burn a CD of these MP3s.

To burn an audio CD of these MP3s using iTunes:

  1. Download iTunes from Apple (see link above)
  2. Install it.
  3. Download all Alto MP3s from the EBH website. Put them in a folder.
  4. Open iTunes, click "Library" from the choices in the left pane and then choose "New Playlist" from the File menu.
  5. The new playlist will show up in the left pane. Rename it "Alto MP3 CD" (or whatever part you sing), and then click on it to select it.
  6. Drag all Alto MP3s from their folder to the right pane of the playlist window and they'll show up there.
  7. While still in the playlist, click the "Burn Disc" button at the top right of the iTunes window.
  8. Insert a CD. Once it verifies the media you'll need to click "Burn Disc" again (you'll be prompted for this).
  9. Wait for it to finish.
  10. You're done!
